So… when I am not in the office…
…what do I do?
Living with 2 young children, time consuming and keep me feeling young.
From a very early age, I have always had a passion for music, the listenning rather than the performing, but I stream music and have a playlist for every activity. My go to genre is ambient (chillout) electronica, although I enjoy a huge range from Depeche Mode through to Billie Ellish.
Having studied photography for 3 years, I do have an interest in this although with limited time it often gets overlooked.
Home Automation, making my house a smart home. This is super time-consuming and addictive, my expensive hobby! I built my UI using a Amazon tablet running Home Assistant, spending many an hour coding in Python.
Weekends, I like to be out in the Lakes or up a mountain walking, having no time for the gym – this is my source of exercise.
Evenings, when I am not tinkering in Python, I enjoy kicking back with a movie.
